Homer Watson House & Gallery is the homestead of Homer Ransford Watson, Canada's first noted landscape artist (1855-1936). In 1980, his house and surrounding 3 acre property were designated under the Ontario Heritage Act as being of architectural and historic significance. Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Homer Watson's creative spirit by stimulating the appreciation, enjoyment and practice of the visual arts.Using our world travel planner, Kitchener attractions like Homer Watson House & Gallery can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

I used to work there. The gardens are beautiful. Nice atmosphere. Their children's classes are so much fun. I haven't been to any adult class, but I have great confidence in them. All staff is friendly and a special mention for Scott who had inspired me, thank you.
