Step out onto Columbia Icefield Skywalk, an exciting glass walkway striding out from a cliff edge in the Canadian Rockies. Begin your walk along the cliff, taking in interpretive exhibits related to the geological and ecological history of the area, learning about the ecosystem and alpine landscape before you. The glass-floored walkway takes you out from the edge of the cliff, 280 m (918 ft) above the glacier-formed valley and waterfalls below. The walkway and observation platform offer a fresh perspective on the area of wilderness that surrounds, providing plenty of opportunities for dramatic photography.
