  • Very very beautiful basilica, but it was closed. we went in mid afternoon on a Friday, and it seemed that it was open for certain events, but not then.  more »
  • Built in 1876, this is a National Historic Site in Canada. Steps leading up are wide and were dry and well-maintained. Excellent architectural guide at entrance available plus free brochure. Easy self-directed tour. Visited in afternoon while choir rehearsing. Magic to hear the voices.
