The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation is a registered not-for-profit society in the province of British Columbia and its office is located in Field, BC. The Foundation conducts guided hikes as well as educational outreach programs for students and teachers. The foundation offers guided hikes to the Burgess Shale Walcott Quarry and to the Mt.
