Rosedale Suspension Bridge, Drumheller

#7 of 34 in Things to do in Drumheller
Bridge · Tourist Spot
Walk across Rosedale Suspension Bridge, a historical bridge in the Drumheller Valley rebuilt to commemorate the colorful mining history of the town. The suspension bridge stretches across the Red Deer River 117 m (384 ft), and was built for the coal miners to access work easier. The bridge is mostly comprised of a metal mesh, so as you cross the river you can see the running water below. Be prepared, the bridge does sway a bit, especially if there are multiple people crossing at once. A visit to Rosedale Suspension Bridge represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Drumheller online trip itinerary planner to plot your vacation.
