  • A good variety of animals. Animals are not far from each other, so you don't have to walk a long distance to see one animal. You can tell the animals and the zoo are taken good care of. There are quite a few staff and volunteers taking care of different animals when we went. All the animals were very clean too! It's a great zoo that people have put their heart to maintain. Highly recommend.
  • I went to the zoo on one of the coldest days this winter. The upside was that it was nearly empty (saw maybe a dozen other guests the entire time), so there was no issue in getting around and seeing the animals. But with it being winter not all of the animals were out (understandably), but I was disappointed that there were not exhibits for the animals to be viewed during the winter months, so I missed out on seeing more than I anticipated had I gone in the summer time. Still, a beautiful zoo with lots to see and well cared for animals.
