Murrin Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located just south of Squamish beside the Sea-to-Sky Highway. The park is approximately 24 ha. in size and has a popular highway-side picnic ground and small swimming lake (Browning Lake), but it is most notable for a collection of petroglyphs located away from the highway and accessed by trail. Several rockfaces in the area of the park are popular with the local mountain-climbing community, though the site is nowhere as busy as the nearby Stawamus Chief.

Other provincial parks nearby are Stawamus Chief Provincial Park, Shannon Falls Provincial Park and Porteau Cove Provincial Park.

We didn't know what to expect but had added this to our Sea To Sky itinerary. Nice walk to stretch our legs, we were tempted to swim since it was a hot day! more »

This is a beautiful location and where it became clear that Ontario folks have a very different interpretation of "Hike". LOL. BC terms - "HIKE" is a Climb. There is lots of parking, and Bathrooms. Picnic tables allow for you to eat a packed lunch. There is a small beach on like a "pond" but the water is clear and fresh. Small children, and pets frolic and enjoyed. If you DO attempt the "Hike" it takes about 25 minutes, straight up... and the view is ABSOLUTELY worth it. I am afraid of heights, and would do it again.

Nice place with picnic tables. Has a trail (marine loop), quite easy but requires good shoes as path is rocky. Great view on top and not crowded along the way. Parking is quite limited an a good day, better to arrive early.
