Listen to the soothing sound of the gentle waves at Almada Beach, a smooth, sandy beach surrounded by lush greenery. The crystal, clear water is perfect for a refreshing dip, and the sunsets are spectacular. A number of kiosks offer caipirinhas (Brazil's national cocktail made with rum, sugar, and lime) and cold beers among other food snacks. Or you can enjoy a meal at one of the restaurants. You may even be surprised with a special treat -- dolphin sightings in the distance. The beach is quiet, there are not many waves. There are some kiosks with good food, and the people who work there are very kind. Beside it, there is easy access to Engenho Beach, also very beautiful and quieter yet because there is no trade. Recommend!
