Museu Casa de Cora Coralina seeks to preserve and promote the work of poet Brazilian Cora Coralina. Housed within Casa Velha da Ponte (Old Bridge House), an 18th century wattle and daub building, owned by her father and used to store the Quinto Real (a tax on gold), the museum preserves the house as it was during Coralina's lifetime. As you tour the rooms in which the artist lived, slept, cooked, and ate, you are offered a uniquely intimate insight into the life and work of a poet.
