Praia do Sueste, Fernando de Noronha

Enjoy the calm sea and gentle waves at Praia do Sueste, the southeast bay on Fernando do Noronha Island. Rich marine life provides plenty of snorkeling opportunities and three nearby islands await exploration. As one of the main feeding grounds for sea turtles, the area enjoys protection; expect a good deal of seaweed, and designated diving sites. The bay's mangrove forest represents a true rarity, seen nowhere else on an island. Explore the nearby fort, guarding the entrance to the bay where a Dutch squadron landed in 1629. • The beach surprised us, the sea is incredibly calm and was very good to dive. We can visualize turtles and small sharks. My favorite beach of Noronha. It's a pity you don't have the service of sun umbrellas and drinks.

  • One of the beaches I liked the most on the island. Calm sea, easy access by the BR (asphalt) and with structure. It's good to see marine life. You have to have the access card to the preservation beaches.

  • We arrived at the beach of Sueste in the late afternoon, and it closes around 17:00 hours, so we enjoy little. As soon as we arrived, an instructor has come to explain to us about the beach. We ended up closing with an instructor, so we could take the beach to see the Turtles and sharks. On the sidewalk, we could see giant turtles, we saw turtles of two different species! All beautiful! As I was with my 5-year-old son, he wanted to come back, and we ended up not seeing sharks. But it was worth it, it's very beautiful! We walked through the sand all over the beach and we could see turtles and sharks that came on our foot, right where the waves broke. All very beautiful! Love!

  • In my opinion the best beach of Noronha, both for bathing and for scuba diving. There is practically no wave, besides being able to admire the small vegetarian sharks in the shallow, in the dive area see the giant turtles and other aquaticas species. It is within the national park, so it is mandatory to pay the rate that was 120 reais per person. I find the rate expensive, but it is Noronha neh friend.
