  • We arrived at the winery through Google. There we were informed that there was no more wine tasting on site, only in Pirenópolis city. We were able to see the vines, with Adriana's guidance, because there was already a group in visitation. The visit to the Parreiras, in itself, was well OK. Without major technical explanations, we saw the grapes planted on the property and some history of the plantations on site. We were in 5, the group we joined together had about 15 people. Back at Headquarters, only 2 of US 5 decided to taste a kind of wine that was available. Then, when we were charged for this, we understood that this would be a supposed tasting. There was no visit to the process of manufacturing the wine, the barrels, etc., as this does not occur at the site, but in a nearby city, as we were told. For the purchase of products from the winery and tasting, we were informed that we should head to the restaurant Calliandra in Pirenópolis, where the group of 15 people would make a harmonised lunch, but there were no more vacancies for our group to lunch. We went to the restaurant, because a friend of the group wanted to buy a souvenir wine. Well, there we were charged: 20 reais per person for those who did not taste the wine at the headquarters (this is the price they must charge of the people who are taken from the city, with the transfer of them, for the visitation of the winery, however, we went with own driving), + 30 reais per person par To those who have tasted less than half a glass of wine. It was then offered us lunch at the restaurant, without harmonization with wines, for 90 reais per person, three pre-defined dishes. We understand that the offer occurred after another group gave up lunch. We do not accept, but we were charged 120 reais to see a few feet of grapes and two half glasses of wine. I ask that the administration of the site better explain the information, via Google, for future visitors do not be frustrated by not visiting a winery, but a parreiral. As well as inform the price charged for the tour, the hours of service and the absence of wine tasting day on site. We felt the journey was lost. Frustrating.

  • It is very worthwhile to visit the Pirineus vineyard and to know more about one of the award-winning wines from Brazil, produced in Goiano soil by the physician Marcelo, who personally guides the visits to the site and explains the production process. We were in a couple, me and my boyfriend, who we are from Brasilia and we were staying in Pirenópolis (1 hours of travel car). We love the tour that counts with the tasting of the wines harmonized with a very well prepared lunch (canapés, entrance, main course and dessert). We are not experts in wine, and precisely so we could learn a lot about planting and growing grapes for this purpose. On site It is not possible to follow the wine manufacturing process itself because it happens elsewhere in a nearby city. The amount charged by lunch, tour in the vineyard and tasting really is not cheap (R $170 per person), but we think it is worthwhile for the experience provided. If you are a vegetarian or have some food restriction recommend to advise before making your reservation for lunch. I add that it is not a nice ride for children, because the script is thought more for adults even and there is no physical structure designed for the children's public. In the tasting we are served 3 types of wines of own manufacturing, including the famous flags, however, does not include the tasting of the acclaimed intrepid, the best label of production. Anyone who wants to prove intrepid will have to buy their own bottle for a very high price. On site can be purchased extra bottles of all Pirineus wines with discount to take home, values range from R $60 to $300 per bottle. I strongly recommend the tour and take at least one bottle of the flags home, because the wine really is spectacular!
