Preserving nearly 300 woodcuts by 200 artists from Brazil and abroad, Casa da Xilogravura is the only museum of its kind in the country. Located in the historic center of town, in a building that once housed the Monastery of Saint John, the museum also maintains a library, and an archive of Brazilian graphic arts.
