Parque Nacional de Brasilia, Brasilia

#1 of 6 in Wildlife in Federal District
National Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
The largest park in the world located in an urban area at 423.83 square km (163.6 square mi), Parque Nacional de Brasilia is known for its healing waters. The park is full of streams, pools, and watery caves that are mostly reachable via well-groomed trekking trails. Although the park is mapped out into zones that indicate the difficulty level of trekking--some require proper hiking gear--you can easily access lush forest and clean, mineral water pools without it. Inside the park, you will find large formations of quartzite and limestone that are shrouded in a green veil of vegetation. Parque Nacional de Brasilia is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.
