Radimlja is a stećak necropolis located near Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in Vidovo polje, 3 km west of Stolac, on the Čapljina-Stolac road. The Radimlja necropolis is one of the most valuable monuments of the mediaeval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • On our way across Bosnia and Herzegovina we saw many such tombstones (stećak), but this one in Radimlja has the most preserved tombstones in the entire country. It is located near the road Trebinje...  more »
  • Just close to the main road when driving from Dubrovnik over Trebinje to Mostar. Fascinating site on the UNESCO protected list.  more »
  • Most of the stećci cannot be seen until after 3 PM when the sun is on the perfect spot. I know it's not something that can be influenced by the workers but overall four stars.
