Museo de Coca, La Paz

Most commonly associated with cocaine, the coca plant in fact has a long history of spiritual and medicinal use in native South American cultures. The small museum highlights these traditional uses and, perhaps pushing too much of an agenda, strongly criticizes foreign-led campaigns to try to eradicate the plant, which it blames for causing bloodshed in Bolivia.
