  • Bacab came recommended to us by the owner of a VRBO that we stayed in. We went one day for a late lunch. It was our lucky day as the manager was on site. We wanted to return another day to...  more »

  • Just a couple pictures from when I was there last Wednesday. We had a blast and our tour guides Paula and Robert were amazing. Robert had a lot of experience with the animals. We explained one of the animals we saw to him just to find out it was a White Tailed Coati. Unfortunately I was unable to get a pic as the thing was running towards me.
  • This was one of my favorite excursions off the the cruise. A pleasant 40 minute ride that was wonderfully narrated by Paula, a local. Once we arrived, we saddled up for our ride. This was only my second horseback riding experience, and Fred fixed me up with Brownie, the gentlest horse on the planet. We road through the jungle, and told all about the Flora and fawna. Even ate a termite or two along the way...minty. There we're six clients and three guides. The guides could not have been kinder. 1 and half hours later, we escorted to our Belizean lunch. So much, and very good. After lunch we walked over to the pool to recover from horseback riding. Very serene. Would I recommend? In a heartbeat.
