The main attraction of the city's Grote Markt, Town Hall (Stadhuis) is a magnificent Gothic-style three-story building. Built between 1448 and 1469, it is filled with figures of saints, sculptures by famous artists, and paintings of past Leuven mayors. The outer structure and façade of the building impress with their impeccable detail. There are several bars and cafes outside of the town hall from which you can admire the building's architecture.
