We opted for the combi-ticket castle, Inner Garden and museum garden (cost price: €13). The clerk was extremely friendly and helped us on the way with the operation of the audio tour. My backpack was not allowed to enter and was left in a free secure locker (with code). The appliances of the audio tour worked perfectly and the information during our walk through the castle and the rooms was relevant and interesting. Take pictures. Then we visited the inner garden with lots of boxwood bulbs and hedges, but also here it turned out that the moth had already been visiting. We went to the museum garden where we were welcomed to the entrance and where we got the necessary explanations, how this garden was conceived. Please note that dogs are not allowed in the castle, Courtyard and museum garden, but in the surrounding Park garden.
First time we enjoyed the castle and the botanic garden with plenty of fruit trees. We also decided for the IceCream just next to the parking, and it was a lovely discover too! Second time we went for the walk (there a blue and green path) and with a stroller we went all around the lake and the vineyards - Blue path. Perfect walk on Sundays even with babies.
Simple castle, but great castle grounds for a Sunday afternoon. Just opened a great ice cream/ tea shop outside the grounds which makes the Sunday afternoon spend perfect!
