Hidden in plain sight throughout the city, Tintin Mural Painting adorns the city's architecture with Belgium's famous crime-fighting characters. The murals make use of the buildings by following the curvature of the walls with images from the classic comic book, Tintin. Other famous characters from a variety of other comics make appearances as well. To save time finding these murals, purchase a mural map from the tourist office in the Grot Markt. • I really did not get why this place is so famous and mentioned as must see. The tintin painting in the wall is hard to find in a crowd. I love tintin but did not really like the spot (personal choice). A busy street lots of souvenir shops around.
  • The mural is Great but is just a painting on the wall! Worth a look if passing near by but not worth a special journey!
