  • Grandiose Historical Museum of the Battle of Napoleon, fabulous reproductions and settings. For those who want to know the history of Napoleon and the battle is no better. The movie in 4d makes you enter full in the thick of the battle. Congratulations

  • The soil from which the hill of the lion is made, has been taken from the battlefield of Waterloo. The area is very beautiful, has a lot of nature and additionally a coffee if you want to rest or eat. The gift shop is cheap, has very beautiful things, you can shop souvenir that you will not find in the rest of the country. The staff are very polite. We did not go to the museum and did not we climbed in the lion, but as a visit and experience even without it, Waterloo is worth as much time as you can spare.

  • The museum gives a lot of nice details of the events in France (including the French Revolution) that led to the rise of Napoleon as self-proclaimed emperor. The price of admission comes with an audio guide (at least four languages). If you listen to and read everything, you can expect to be in the museum for a good two to three hours. There is a 3D movies at the end that covers the final Battle of Waterloo.
  • Very interesting and well arranged museum underground. Good that the museum covers also other aspects of that time than just the battle at Waterloo. A must see!
