Le Monde Sauvage reviews
Have visited this place recently and had very nice experience with Safari. Good place to hangout if you have live for animals more »
The space with farm animals was nice, and the bird of prey show was a cool experience. Although I don't particularly love the idea of the safari, it is better for the animals to be in a larger open... more »
It was a nice trip. The auto safari was really something. According to what some people say, the animals had plenty of space. I saw the employees doing their best for them. I'm sure they're well cared for.
Monde Sauvage Safari Parc Review: I am going to talk about a few topics most of it is my experience. Categories: 1. Animal Enclosures 2. Security 3. Extra costs 4. Language Knowledge 5. Other visitors false complains 6. Overall and extra information Animal Enclosures: - Bird cages (entrance) The bird cages at the entrance are quite small and feel kinda death. - Bird cages (in bird enclosure at entrance) Some of the bird cages are to small and we felt sad looking at it. - Sea dogs Sea dogs enclosure is way to small for 6 big sea dogs. At least expand the water area to swim. - Lions The lions enclosure is way to small for the amount of lions they have. - Elephants As far I know, there's 2 elephants and it felt a bit small the space for such big animals, this can easy be expanded. Since the space is available. There's some more animal enclosures that might need a review but for now I will leave it out of this review. I only have entered the biggest ones. Overall all other animal enclosures were very big or big enough. They had some good freedom. Security Review: I only have to say one thing in matter of security, almost all of the big bird enclosures weren't locked. You could easily open a cage, meaning people could let the birds escape or enter the cage. Checkout the picture to see what I mean. Extra Costs: Be warned if you don't want to drive with your own car through the animals you have to pay €4 to go on the Safari train. However not 100% sure if this is true since we didn't really understand the employee. Parking costs are 4 euro. What is shown on the website. Using the toilet costs 0,30 cents, if you're lucky you don't need to pay. However the toilets aren't clean so not even worth the money. The park Ticket costs 25 euros for each person. What's a lot, so using a toilet should be free. Also the Safari train. Language Knowledge: Me and my family are Dutch (Flemish) people, at the entrance (you need to pay the ticket with your car what's a kinda weird system) however the park is in Belgium and they also should know better Dutch. The person we had did barley know any dutch. When we asked a question only we heard was 'yes yes' in French. However that's not the answer we needed. We just skipped the questions. I understand that it's the French part of Belgium but a lot of people from the Flanders and The Netherlands also come to the park so dutch knowledge is a must for people that work at restaurants, information desks, etc. The ones that work in enclosures aren't required to know dutch. False claims from other posted reviews: According to some people the giraffes only are able to eat sticks, but you can clearly see they also eat some other things. Like leaves and straw (hooi) Extra information: - You can't see all animals without going to the drive-able park part. - Following the park arrows will lead you to all animals (except the ones from car only) Overall: So overall the park wasn't that bad like many reviews said. Only a few enclosures that should get bigger, overall the park is a beautiful place to spend your time on. It will receive 3 stars just because of the extra costs, leak of security and some small enclosures. About the language is not something i make a big deal out of. I live in Belgium and neither do i speak the second language (French) so i kinda understand. So i hope my English is a bit read-able. I preferred to type in English in case some every reads my review.
