  • For a small zoo it is well kept. I don't mind them not having big animals, it's sad to see them in tiny enclosures. It read fun to see what other countries consider exotic. Like barn owls and raccoons. They do organic maintenance- spiders eat mosquitoes, leaves turn to mulch, etc. The flamingos were beautiful and very interactive. The staff made sure everyone got a great photo with them.
  • Worth a walk through if you've got some time to burn - when I was a kid it was better funded and had more to offer. The grounds are still really neat/interesting, and they have a number of cool animals to see and interact with, but don't expect this to compare to the kind of zoos you might be used to visiting from more developed countries.
