  • Although we got the cart and the clubs "for free" everything here is super old and quite trashy for a golf course. Barely no upkeep of the greens and fairways, very rough as soon you leave the course....  more »
  • Tired and sparse. It is past its prime. The greens are rough and some no grass at all. The fairways are wide and a variety of grasses and weeds. Forgiving fairways. A few traps that are like...  more »

  • Terrible experience. Called the day prior to book a tee time and the person on the phone told us to come anytime tomorrow after 8 and we could play. One member of our group is left handed and they ensured they had left handed clubs for us to use. We arrived at the course for just after 8 only for there to be no one there. Once we were finally able to find a person who worked there, the gentleman (who was very poorly presented) was unable to find left handed clubs for our group to use. We then left the course. Visit the course with caution
  • Good budget track for island golf. $35 for 9 holes including cart on a Saturday afternoon. Only one other group on the course at the time. $17 for rental clubs. The rentals need to be updated and at least new grips but if you are just out there to have a good time they worked just fine. Greens were rough and bumpy but still managed to roll pretty fast. Fairways were comparable to the budget course I play here in Texas during the summer except the sandy soil still allows you to take a divot. This is a great course to enjoy with a cold Sands beer, cigar, and some good tunes. The staff is very friendly. I'd suggest having a drink at the bar after your round and talk with Claudette (she ran the shop/bar) and Reggie (the course pro). Both very friendly and fun to talk to.
