  • Food grown with love Review of Eleuthera Island Farm Reviewed 1 week ago Island Farm in Palmetto Point kept us healthy and happy for the month of January while we stayed in Governor’s Harbour (about 15 minutes north). They are growing beautiful produce from scratch....and I mean scratch. The island is not known for its richness of soil so when I saw the variety of their farm grown vegetables, including various greens, as well as their fruits and herbs (at very reasonable prices), I was curious. Rea Bethel, who runs the Farmstand, showed us their incredible composting operation out back where they have been making their own soil and expanding their gardens for many years. They sell a large variety of delicious homemade breads as well numerous sauces, jams and prepared foods. They also sell beer, wine and liquor (at prices less than what we found in Governor’s Harbour). The Bethel family, in addition to being wonderful hardworking people, are providing a much needed service to the locals and tourists in Eleuthera.More Date of experience: January 2019
  • Really pretty and easy to access spot off the main road. The farm has some great homemade food plus a liquor store with wine and beer.
