  • Just arrived in Vienna for a short break, we went during a public holiday at this "trufforante", being one of the few open in the area. From hungry consciousness and they do not have read the reviews before going blind. Waiting for 30 minutes to get a burger from €21.90 that only to see it they came the guilt about the money that we would have thrown. Half sliced beef, raw inside, put in a lousy sandwich with frozen vegetables. Lasagna (already was a gamble) soaked in a bowl of chopped tomatoes without seasoning, stuffed with frozen vegetables, including corn (??) and "maybe" covered by cheese ... In 4 we paid 90 euro and ate anything, even the beer was flat ... It is a paradox that this restaurant is still open. Only accept cash, we give at least the receipt from the cheek of the owner. Only positive laughter when we found out where we were staying. (place known for its after-party)

  • Era el único sitio abierto ya que era festivo en Viena y nos timaron. Después de ver una carta carísima y escrita a mano, decicimos no arriesgarnos y pedir hambuguesa para todos (cheeseburguer). La co...  more »

  • The decoration of the place and service are very good. Staff speaks good English. We ordered omelettes and it was not too bad. But coffee was really very expensive. For two omelettes, two coffees, two peaces of bread we paid 35 EUR. I think it is expensive for such a poor breakfast. We will never go there again. Maybe someone will like it for the atmosphere only, but we came here to eat and our main purpose was not fulfilled
  • The reviews are spot on, we just read them too late, and like so many others fell for the trap. It looks pretty, and has a nice atmosphere to lure you in. The owner is friendly, attentive and polite, smiling while he robs you. The food and drinks are expensive, they charge for every little thing and they add the service charge to the bill which is not typical for Austria (probably because nobody would tip after their meal). The food was awful, most likely from the freezer at the supermarket. The boiled vegetable side dish cost nearly €4 for what looked and tasted like frozen mixed vegetables. I could go on, and on, but mostly I'd be repeating other reviews, I just hope you read them before its too late....
