  • We happened to pass the entrance of the dialogue in the dark during our city walk and were lucky to get 2 seats for a guided tour later in the afternoon. At the beginning of the lead, we were all (we were five in the group) a bit excited and the first steps from daylight to a completely dark world were really unusual. Our guide Nico was super good! With a lot of humour and great care, he led us safely through the exhibition, so that after a few minutes we could lose the initial uncertainty and embarn on this great experience. In the bar we were able to have a really interesting and also funny "dialogue in the dark" with Nico. Time passed as if in flight. A great experience!

  • By phone, we were able to get one of the coveted places for the exhibition "Dialogue in the Dark" at very short notice. The concept of "Dialogue in the Dark" is very simple: Sees are guided by the blind and visually impaired through an exhibition in perfect darkness. In most situations we can imagine, mostly blind people need help from sighters. When it gets zapping duster, the sighted are thrown up and need support from the blind! At the beginning of the exhibition, each participant was given a blind stick and received by a sympathetic young man in the dark exhibition space. We now had to concentrate on our other senses, attentively follow the voice of our guide and feel the rooms with hands and blind stick. After a first panic ("How am I ever supposed to find my way around here? I don't want to get lost! HILFE! ") You gradually become more and more secure. Even if you rush straight into other group members a few times, you slowly get used to the feeling and the darkness. So we learned, among other things, how a walk through the forest, through the city and through shops might feel, if you can't see anything. In the last room, the Dark Bar, we were able to ask our guide (necessarily money) all the questions over a drink and he told us his personal story, among others, how he lost his sight, and how he masters his everyday life. A magnificent concept and a formative exhibition that everyone-young or old-should have experienced!

  • This museum was extremely informative and fun. Good for children over the age of eight. The guides are helpful and it felt very real. Beware that the tour is pitch black. You will not be able to see. This was an extremely fun experience and it was very amazing.
  • An extraordinary experience that I really recommend! Incredible how much we rely on our eyes on a daily basis. This experience shows you what it "feels" like to be blind. It's so dark inside that you don't see anything. It doesn't matter if your eyes are open or not. You go inside this tunnel at first and follow the walls. At the beginning you get a blind stick from the staff to "feel" your way forward. There's guides that tell you to follow them (most of the guides are blind themselves). There are different kinds of terrain as you walk through. At the end there is a "bar in the dark" where you can drink something and talk to the barkeeper or your friends, in the dark. It's a totally new experience to talk without seeing anyone or anything. You can just relax and be yourself without being anxious about your looks and so on. If you got the time definitely give it a go. It's really worth it! I loved every second of it.
