We took a hike from Bad Zell to get to this ruin. This is roughly 22 kilometers of walking through nice fields, forests and nature; also there was a small sort of summit of the 'Herrgottsitz' on our..... more »

Outstanding views over the surrounding countryside with a lovely bar/restaurant at the base. Also a charging point for bikes. more »

My husband and I hiked about 15 minutes uphill to get to this place. I am not currently in the best health, and the hike was tough, but I am so glad that I made myself do it. Exploring this place made the walk up 100 percent worth it. There is almost completely free reign to explore the ruins. At times, I kind of felt like Indiana Jones!😜
