Lüner Lake (German Lünersee) is a large lake near the town of Bludenz in Vorarlberg, Austria.

The lake's depth was raised by 72 metres by the construction of a hydroelectric dam in 1958. The dam supplies water to four local power plants, Lünersee, Rodund I, Rodund II and Walgau. The lake is linked to the village of Brand by a cable car system, the Lünerseebahn.

Very beautiful lake high in the mountains. Recommended to visit. Around the lake it's not very busy with people, at least when we were there, so it felt very private and relaxing. But the restaurant..... more »

You can take the cabin up and down hill - the walk around the lake takes around 1-1.5 hours slow pace and very easy. You can hike up to the peaks, or hike down to the valley if you want more... more »

Icy lake... amazing. Hike trails are not accessible due to ice on it. staff at the cable car station were all friendly and nice!

Very nice place to take photos. I would recommend sunshine to go to there. Then you could see the reflection of the mountains in the water if you're lucky.
