Previously a cattle station, El Questro Wilderness Park is now an eco-holiday destination with luxury rooms, bungalows, and camping. This area of over 400,000 hectares (1 million acres) includes thermal springs and stunning gorges, and extends 80 km (50 mi) into the wilderness. There are three resorts offering various accommodations: Emma Gorge (safari cabins), The Station (camping), and The Homestead (luxury rooms). You can explore the Chamberlain Gorge by boat, or go trekking and horse riding. You can also go on a helicopter ride and barramundi fishing.   • Overpriced unpowered camping site, toilets called daily at 7:30am where they are shut and you need to go to other amenities. This is ridiculous as this is usually when most people are getting up and.....  more »
