Enjoy the scenic vista dominated by the imposing rock on Uluru Hiking Path. Lined with mulga trees and shrubs, the self-guided path will take you from the Cultural Centre to Uluru's base. After rainfall, you can admire the fragrant wildflowers that dot the reddish trail. Being relatively flat and wheelchair accessible, the 4 km (2.4 mi) hike won't take you too much effort to complete. Don't forget to bring plenty of water and sunscreen, especially on a hot day.   • Beautiful place to take in nature....
  • Easier climb than I thought. Do this in the early morning before it gets too hot. It takes about 2.5h - 4h depending how long you stay on the peak. It was safer to climb than to descend as the rock surface can get slippery on downhill slope. As the climb will be prohibited, give it a try before that.
