The museum is housed in the Art Deco-style building that once housed the Maritime Services Board, located on the western edge of Circular Quay. Overlooking the world-famous Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, the museum hosts frequent cultural events and traveling exhibitions of some of the world's most prominent artists. Recent popular shows have included retrospectives of works by Annie Leibovitz and Yoko Ono. Well if you have time to kill and are not particularly interested in getting burnt by the sun at a beach. This place is perfect. They have a few free art exhibits that you can check out and if ur lucky you make get to attend a workshop too. There was an artist who was showing us how to make paper boats when I went which was his was of paying his respect to immigrants from Vietnam who never made it to Australian shores

Very good gallery to visit for free admissions. Nicely air conditioned and has multiple layers to view in the building. Nicely located and easy to access, highly recommend if you're looking to enjoy some Australian culture and fill you day.
