  • We had a lovely visit today. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very busy due to Easter long weekend so we didn’t see many animals, but a great way to get the kids moving. We spent about 45....  more »
  • I have always loved boardwalks. From there, above, everything can be better seen, and the sensitive vegetation is also grateful if we don’t trample on them. The person, who invented it had a great...  more »
  • The boardwalk remains fairly flat as you want through the trunks of these amazing trees and plants. As you're off of the ground, it's an easy walk and it's not harming the environment either - win win! I'd love to see it after a wet season - something to look forward to for next time :) Lovely place for a walk - unfortunately there were no ranger walks on the day we visited but one did tell us to look out for a Powerful Owl at a particular marker point which we did see. Very nice cafe too. Would recommend for a couple of hours visit.
  • A very enjoyable place to visit. The board walk through the trees is wheelchair and pram friendly. They also have things for children to look out for. The centre at the front is a really good shop (not junky), with some interesting things to purchase. The cafe is great too, good coffee & cake and being able to sit out and look to the trees. Highly recommend this place. If you have a caravan on tow, watch out for the parking it is the very front part of the car park next to the road. It’s not well sign posted for caravan parking if you are coming from the Lake Cathie end.
