  • Flinders Monument in the Port Lincoln National Park is a walk for the fit but one is rewarded by the view over Boston Bay and Port Lincoln  more »
  • It's an incredible monument. Extremely large and made from white marble. Such a shame to see it blemished by graffiti and those that would deliberately try to chip the rock to leave their initials. Historical significance of this site. You can google search it for details. You can see in all directions up here. The walk up isn't too much effort. My 5 year old made it easily enough. It can get hot here and the flies are oppressive. Take plenty of water. Allow yourself about 1 hour return so you can take your time. Be careful of snakes. Might be lucky and see other wildlife here too.
