Hanging Tree Wines offers one of the most welcoming cellar doors in the Hunter Valley - housed within an old cow-shed and complete with a heritage Blacksmith's Cottage, Horse-whispering lodge, duck pond and French parterre-designed rose bed. The Hanging Tree stands tall at the entrance of the property - the site where beasts (and rumoured bushrangers) were hung.



Our grapes are handpicked and handcrafted to produce various red, white, sparkling, sweet and fortified wines – all in our easy drinking, fruit driven style. We also produce olives and tapenades from our own olive grove on site, so pop in, try our award-winning wines, and see what else we have to offer!



The Hanging Tree Homestead, built in 2005, takes a commanding position on the 40 acre vineyard and comfortably sleeps 8 across the 4 suites.
