We start early, open at 8, and are a market like no other. Because we're in Nimbin time, place and universe, where anything can happen and likely will, and you can be part of an experience of love, acceptance, and the embrace of diversity in everyone.Take a look at our Nimbin driving holiday planning site to schedule your visit to Nimbin Markets and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.
Sumptuous multicultural food, coffee, unique artisan wares, recycled inventions, spinning, crochet and crafty arts, innovative ideas, books, spiritual concepts, clothes and furniture are just some of the things you can feast your senses on. Our wares are Hand Grown, Hand Made, Fair Trade, and Recycled.
We have various music stages and performances and organically organised music of a flowing nature, including anything you can think of being welcome to come and take part in a busking, jamming culture of diverse musical expressions.
Workshops and massages, impromptu Yarn Bombing and eye candy, and we've even got a resident performance artist who will turn up sporadically and when genius strikes to bedazzle you.
And we're also working on a web page and newsletter where we can set up an online and in town presence, with interviews, videos, sound recordings, photos, and stories from the market. Where you can also buy your favourite goodies online from our fabulous stallholders.
Contact us on 0458 506 000 if you want to come and be a part of it!
Being Nimbin, there is a chance that market organizers may be off line / off the grid and without a phone for a couple of weeks. So if that phone number rings out and you are not getting a response to any messages left on this page and you want to have a stall at the next market: come along anyway, early (around 8am) on Market day and ask for Currawong :)
