  • Not the longest or even the most attractive mall in Australia, but it still offers a lively atmosphere, including the cream of Melbourne's street performers, and Myer's periodic window displays. Major department stores including Myer and David Jones; Melbourne's GPO (now a shopping centre and Heritage-listed example of Victorian architecture); fashion outlets; a tourist information booth; and tram stops. Watch for trams when crossing.
  • This is always a great place to visit no matter what your reason, you may be a tourist going for a walk throughout the city or you may be a local in need of something from the many shops. The outdoor mall is easily accessible via public transport or walking. There are many different types of shops including cafes and restaurants.
