Tolmer Falls, Litchfield National Park

#5 of 9 in Parks in Litchfield National Park
Waterfall · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Tolmer Falls drops from the towering height of 102 m (335 ft) into a placid plunge pool. Hidden away in a narrow gorge, the waterfall is best seen from a small platform perched on the cliffs and jutting over the gushing water. The pool and the cave at the bottom of the waterfall are off limits, as some endangered species of bats inhabit the area. The lookout point is accessible via a picturesque, wheelchair-friendly path, which leads around the edge of the gorge right up to some rock pools that sit above the falls.
