What a fantastic space with historic building Victorian Settlement era. The staff are extremely helpful (even posed for my picture) I was after the #australianadventurepassport and they went and found it for me. Then went for a walk around the grounds which had a beautiful floral garden and paddocks that held some of Australia’s Racing Greats in the likes of Efficient, Apache Cat etc.
A unique experience where some of our former champion race horses live in retirement. Their individual achievements are shown on the fences of the yards where they spend their time. Guided tours of the stable areas are also available with the chance to feed these magnificent animals. Meanwhile above, international & interstate aircraft take off and land over the road at Tullamarine Airport. The property is great for nature walks & seeing kangaroos in their natural environment. One of the walls takes you to is a mapping point whilst another goes to an aboriginal burial ground. The homestead has a cafeteria for those who get the hungers. So close to Melbourne, it certainly warrants a visit
