Beautiful and tranquil spot and very calming, but the fact there’s nowhere to hang your clothes while having a massage and there are no arm rests on the outdated massage tables for when you’re having a massage is very disappointing. If you can’t lay on your stomach for 75 minutes with your arms in the one spot, give it a miss. It is quite expensive for what you get, so you want 5 star service and the facilities you are paying for. The massage was lovely and the therapist was very professional, but I’ve certainly had better. Many other places on the Sunshine Coast I would visit again before going back to Ikatan. I think the location and the idea you could be in Bali is what makes it popular to be honest.

My husband gifted a 2 hour pamper session to me. He paid for the session in full and then they charged us an extra $30 on top of the $265 already charged. Apparently the treatment had been changed but not once did they inform me of that. It was a terrible customer experience. Unbelievable disappointing. Never give this as a gift!!! We have a young baby and I was really looking forward to a good massage on my sore back. I asked for lots of attention to my upper back and shoulders about 4 times but still came out with huge knots. The masseuse went through the usual all body treatment despite my repeated requests to focus on my upper back/shoulders. I even asked her to take time from the facial just to keep working on my shoulders. I wasn’t after a remedial massage but something to help me relax. The pipes in the treatment room next door reverberated for a fair few minutes in the middle of my 2 hour treatment. I came home - after not only an expensive gift, but also my husband looking after our baby and asked him to work out the remaining knots in my back. Worst is that he was trying to do something nice for me and it was such a disappointing unpleasant experience - not relaxing at all!!!!
