Visit the Darwin Aviation Museum to learn about Australia's colorful history in flight. See 19 aircraft on display, including a B-25 Mitchell Bomber, Mirage and Sabre jet fighters, and an Australian Navy Wessex helicopter that helped clean up Darwin after Cyclone Tracy hit on Christmas in 1974. The 38 displays include videos of the bombing of Darwin in World War II and a depiction of pioneers Ross and Keith Smith in flight in 1919. Bring drinking water with you if the weather's warm because it can become quite hot inside the hangar.
