Time your visit to Aquascene for high tide when hundreds of fish approach the shore to be fed by curious onlookers. You get to hand-feed the fish while dangling your feet in the water. Though some of the bigger fish sometimes nibble on your toes, not even the scariest-looking ones ever bite hard. The site is known for its friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. You can mingle with visitors from around the world, all enjoying this rare close-up experience with Australia's underwater world. When planning your visit, remember that feeding times are dependent on the tide, so be sure to check the website or call ahead for the schedule. A visit to Aquascene represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Darwin online holiday planner to plot your vacation.

A fun and affordable attraction on the heart of the city. Just watch for the weather before you go: if the water is too rough you will barely be able to see or touch the fish. Also, watch out for jellyfish.
Great location to bring the kids to interact with fish. Opening times depend on Darwin's large tides, perhaps check social media for more accurate times rather than Google as it will change. Prices were kinda steep for what it was but still a morning out.
