  • Very Great first experience of mine to this hike in Tasmania. Although it was a wet and rainy walk up the tracks. With that, please remember to grab along some spikes to your boots to prevent slippery roads along the hike. Went during winter season in the May/ June period. The experience was having a thin air and atmospheric environment. Breathing can be quite challenging for some people, especially the young ones whom will have faster heart beats. Make sure a good stay of 1 to 2 nights at cradle mountain hotel to have a good “camp fire” over the fire place in the hotel. Waking up in the morning to see great tas animals outside your hotel room, make sure you book one with balcony and at level one to capture this wonderful view. And also, purchase some goodies treats from the hotel lobby, this will attracts some animals hopping to you readily. Cheers and thank you. Hope this help you to prepare your trip well.
  • This season of the year, I always like it very much. The walking tour is a bit challenging but worth a visit. On a snow-covered day, stroll to Pigeon Lake and enjoy a period of peace. To know the peak period here, but the crowd is moving. This sense of loneliness adds peace to this special place.
