  • My girlfriend and I went on a sea tour with these heroes this week. They are the nicest, most down to earth people you will meet, and really care for the planet and delivered a very powerful message! On top of this, the Kayak tour is amazing, with no clock watching. We saw dolphins and eagle rays, and caught a great wave at the end. This is a must do Byron activity and not your usual tourist trap. Please wish these guys all the best, what they are doing is amazing and I am sure if they could be heard the world would be a different place!
  • Sit on the ground with your legs in front of you. Now hold an oar at shoulder height. Hold this pose for two hours and you'll get a good idea of what sea kayaking feels like. I'd say at least half of my group didn't enjoy the activity -- some nearing mutiny. Though the sea was calm, we had to row strongly against a current for half an hour to barely progress toward shore. In all, it was two solid hours of rowing and maybe five total minutes to rest -- and if you were in the back of the group, by the time you caught up rest time was over. Aside from not enjoying the sport, the staff just wasn't that good. They didn't spend a lot of time with education, or outfitting, or inquiring about our feelings. The guide in the lead kayak told us what he saw -- because it was gone by the time we caught up. Oh, and "morning tea" is a cookie. In short, I can't recommend this. I think they're safe with their guarantee: if you don't see a dolphin, you can do it again for free. I can't believe there are people who would do this twice.
