The park has paths that go along both sides of the Werriobee River, with children's playgrounds at either end. There are couple of places where the river can be crossed - at the eastern end only when.... more »

My favorite place to walk in Ballan you have the Werribee river always lovely even in summer when a lot of it has dried up ,overall my top pick for Ballan nice also for a picnic plenty of lovely... more »

A visit to Ballan wouldn't be complete without a relaxing stroll through Caledonian Park. The well kept paths lead to a small footbridge over the Werribee River. Public toilets are available in the adjoining Mill Park next to the Ballan Swimming Pool.

Rotten wet and windy day when visited, but a nice pull in to quickly stretch our legs with our four legged friend. No bbq area or toilet, but a rubbish bin and a nice walking - if you're willing to take on the twisted metal bridge! 😀 Across the road from the outdoor swimming pool where there are bbq amenities etc.
