  • The Armaghan volcano has a beautiful lagoon in its crater and a montasteary built in 2009. It is easy to climb and the approach can be done on foot or with a 4x4, which can even climb to the summit, although it has to be an experienced driver, several accidents have occurred and on the way you can see scrap of abandoned vehicles, apparently because not they were able to go up. A local legend says that only Soviet cars are capable of making the journey.

  • A short distance from the road between Lake Sevan and the Selim Pass, where there is a beautiful caravanserai to see, rises Mount Armaghan which is an extinct volcano. If you have a 4x4 and you like to climb up a drop of over five hundred meters in six kilometers scarce, on a gravel road, rocky, bumpy and uneven is the right place. At the top there are a modern church in basalt, a tiny volcanic lake and the views that can be enjoyed at more than two hundred thousand meters of altitude. Fantastic diversion.
