Castle · Hidden Gem · Architectural Building
Out in the Argentine countryside sits Residencia Messidor, a small French-style castle designed by famed architect Alejandro Bustillo in 1942. Nestled within walking distance from Lake Huapi, the castle is surrounded by verdant forest. Presidents and dignitaries have stayed at the residence, which was originally commissioned by Sara Madero DemarĂa and later sold to the province. Though it remains closed to the public, you can drive a car around a small circuit for excellent views and photo ops.
