  • Just natural beauty. Overall it has nothing specific to highlight but small natural things make it a really very nice place. The tree of life, the mortars, its stream, the slabs with fossil remains, the amount of birds, horses, goats, sunset, mountain and peace.

  • We arrived by car by asphalt route. Admission is free. At the checkpoint (located 4km from the entrance to the park) you are greeted by a guide, and if you wish it accompanies you inside the park for a contribution at will. The place is very quiet and beautiful, it would seem that time stops when you enter the park. About 130 people live there and you can visit a tree over 500 years old, a slab stone quarry, a mini museum with fossils and the replica of the world's largest arachnid fossil, the creek, the school and chapel. Picnics and camping can be arranged, and there is a dining room for lunch. Must see if you stop in Merlo or the surrounding area.
