Keep your eyes peeled for marine wildlife and sea mammals at Caleta Valdes, a beach area with the appropriate climate and geographic conditions to shelter various species. Enjoy sweeping views of the beach from one of several lookout points, which offer panoramic perspectives over the azure seas, backed by verdant cliffsides. Droves of elephant seals and Magellanic penguins live in the area, a reserve started in 1983 in order to protect these species, and others.
