A former summer retreat of writer Victoria Ocampo, Centro Cultural Villa Victoria Ocampo now hosts art exhibits, plays, and concerts. The wooden house of English design was built for the writer's godmother in 1912 and used to provide the setting for literary salons attended by aristocrats and prominent artists, such as Jorge Luis Borges. Cross the green lawn surrounded by a lush garden to enter the house, and explore rooms filled with antique wooden furniture dating back to the building's early years. • Beautiful and cosy atmosphere, one of the hotspots for enjoying warm summer nights. Dreamy and romantic!
  • For a while I felt I was in good ol' Southern Usa. Soothing place to have tea with friends and participate of a good cultural event if you know the language.
