Bodegas Lopez reviews
I give credit to the owners of this winery, for not being greedy and giving anyone a chance to learn about and taste their wine. I believe it's quite an ingenious way to get people's foot in the door.... more »
We took the Metrotranvia from the Belgrano station to Gutierrez ,w which is the end of the train . ( You have to buy a card in a kiosk for around 150 pesos before) . The train takes 35 min to get to..... more »
Coming from Sonoma and Napa region my girlfriend and I know a little about wines. These I can say taste too oxidized for our liking. We tasted about four reds in addition to four whites and we liked none. The majority of glasses were free but we did not finish them. The staff was friendly but took a while to get someone to assist us.
Great place to eat and do a winery tour(it’s free as in $0) the food is pretty good, not something you would expect for the price and abundant. The 3 steps dinner is an experience, of flavors and great attention. Even though there is no vineyard on the premises, the restaurant, the winery and completely renovated main building, is awesome. There is for sure some other wineries in the area, but Bodega Lopez offers too much and ask for so little back. Also the wines quality, and the price for the wines they have to offer is incredible affordable. Even a 15-20 year old red blend would be only about 20 Bucks Max. Big plus. Easy to get there by train (downtown Mendoza to Last stop), only 1 dllrs there and back. And is 3 blocks away from the train station. Did I mention the tour and wine flyier were free?
